Shiv Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi Urges IT Minister To Curb Anti-Women content, Channels On social

New Delhi [India], August 3 (ANI): Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has in a letter to Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw urged for instant motion on a YouTube channel for reside broadcasting auctioning of ladies.
"I wrote a letter to the IT minister about this on July 30. There are lots of such functions, YouTube channels the place there's a dialogue about ladies's specific faith takes place. Culprits use their personal images and speak about their bodily attributes. There was a chat of auctioning ladies. I want to say that this can be a felony act and ladies can't be put down for talking up within the public sphere," mentioned Chaturvedi whereas interacting with reporters yesterday.
"If strict motion just isn't taken on this, then within the coming time such functions might be used towards ladies," she mentioned and demanded instant motion from the IT Minister.
"In terms of selling ladies in Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaigns or in Tokyo Olympics, the Centre by no means shies away. However, with regards to talking up for the rights of ladies, the Centre stays silent. However, I hope that the IT Minister will take motion on this matter as quickly as potential," she added.
Yesterday, Priyanka tweeted, "Met Hon. IT Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw ji within the parliament immediately and he assured me that motion can be taken towards such apps and app creators that demean ladies and try to silence them on social media with such makes an attempt.
